An entrepreneur is an individual who organises the factors of production (land, labour, capital) to create a business, taking on financial risk in the hope of making a profit. K

The entrepreneur has several key roles. First, they are a risk-taker — they invest their own capital (or borrow funds) with no guarantee of return, accepting the possibility of financial loss. A Second, they are an innovator, identifying gaps in the market or developing new products and processes. For example, an entrepreneur might spot growing demand for plant-based food and launch a vegan restaurant.
