Morning and afternoon start times depend on your country. Pearson publishes separate start times for each time zone, and your exams officer confirms the exact time.

Two dates to watch
5 and 6 May: both Unit 1 papers, back to back
Business Unit 1 (WBS11) is on Wednesday 5 May and Economics Unit 1 (WEC11) on Thursday 6 May, both in the morning. If you sit both, finish your Unit 1 revision before the series starts.
1 and 4 June: both Unit 4 papers in one week
Business Unit 4 (WBS14) is on Tuesday 1 June and Economics Unit 4 (WEC14) on Friday 4 June. Plan your A2 revision so Unit 4 isn't squeezed into the last few days.
Planning ahead
Planning for the June series
IAL is modular, so you choose which units to sit in each series. June is when most students sit their A2 units, and many sit everything together.
Units 3 and 4
If you sat Units 1 and 2 in October or January, June is for Units 3 and 4. Both A2 papers in each subject carry two 20-mark essays.
Retake a unit
If a unit from October or January went badly, June is another chance. Focus your revision on the topics and question types that cost you marks.
Results
Pearson has not yet published the results date for June 2027. June 2026 results reached students on 13 August 2026.
Plan backwards from 5 May
Finish your notes first, then move on to timed past papers. Leave April for full papers under exam conditions, marked against the mark scheme.
