Terms of Service
Revvy Learn · revvylearn.com Effective date: 27 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Revvy Learn. Please read them. If you're under 18, read them with a parent or guardian before you buy anything.
1. Who we are
Revvy Learn is run by Aron Gijsel, a sole trader at Sokratous 6, 4730 Trimiklini, Cyprus. Email: arongijsel@gmail.com. "We" and "us" mean Aron Gijsel. Full business details are in the Legal notice. How we handle your data is in our Privacy Policy.
2. Who can use Revvy Learn
- Anyone can read the free notes without an account.
- You must be at least 14 to create an account.
- If you're under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to buy Pro. By buying, you confirm you have it. The parent or guardian who allows the purchase also agrees to these terms for it.
3. Your account
Give us an email address you can use, and keep your password to yourself. One account is for one person: don't share it or sell access to it. You're responsible for what happens on your account unless someone got into it without it being your fault. If you think someone has, tell us straight away.
4. Free and Pro
Free includes revision notes for every section, diagrams, practice questions with guidance, and Learn Mode. Signing in (also free) saves your progress across devices.
Pro adds, for as long as your Pro access lasts: all flashcards and quiz questions (free users get a preview), the AI tutor, AI marking of your written answers and explanations, evaluation chains, all model answers, and mistakes review.
The AI features have fair daily limits (currently 30 tutor messages and 50 markings a day) so the service stays affordable and available for everyone.
The current list of what's free and what's Pro is always on the upgrade page.
5. Prices and payment
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your full card number.
- Our prices are set in British pounds (GBP). Stripe shows you the price in your local currency before you pay. If you pay in another currency, the amount can change slightly from one month to the next with exchange rates. If your account was first charged in euros, you're charged our euro prices.
- The price shown at checkout is the full price, including any tax we have to charge.
- We may offer discount codes or special offers. Each one applies only as stated when it's offered.
6. Monthly Pro: renewal and the £1 first month
- Monthly Pro costs £1.99 a month. It renews automatically every month on the date you first paid, and Stripe charges your card each time, until you cancel.
- New subscribers (accounts that have never had a Revvy Learn subscription) pay £1 for the first month. After that first month it renews at the normal monthly price. If you've subscribed before, you pay the normal price from the start.
- We take your card details when you start, including for the £1 month.
- If we raise the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before your next payment at the new price. If you don't want to pay it, cancel before then.
7. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, with no notice period: go to Settings → Manage subscription (or Cancel subscription) and confirm in Stripe. You don't need to email us.
- Cancelling stops future payments. You keep Pro until the end of the month you've already paid for, then your account goes back to Free. Your progress stays.
- We don't refund part-months, except where the law says we must (see sections 9 and 10).
- When you cancel, we may show you an offer, such as lifetime access at a discount. You don't have to take it, and you can cancel without giving a reason.
8. Lifetime Pro
- Lifetime Pro is a single payment (currently £12) for Pro with no renewals.
- "Lifetime" means for as long as we run Revvy Learn, not for your whole life. It includes new Pro features and content we add while we run it.
- If we ever decide to close Revvy Learn, we'll tell you at least 3 months before. If we close within 24 months of your lifetime purchase, we'll refund a share of the price for the time you didn't get.
- If you buy lifetime while you're on monthly Pro, your monthly subscription stops at once and you won't be charged for it again.
9. Your 14-day right to withdraw (EU consumers)
If you live in the EU, EU consumer law normally gives you 14 days from the day you buy to change your mind and withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. Consumers in some other countries have similar rights.
Pro is digital content that starts straight away. Under Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), the right to withdraw ends once Pro has started, but only if, before paying, you expressly agreed that it would start immediately and confirmed you understood you would lose the right to withdraw. If we ask for that agreement at checkout, we'll say so clearly there and confirm it to you by email.
If you didn't give that agreement, you can withdraw within 14 days of buying. Email arongijsel@gmail.com or send the form in the Annex. Just tell us clearly that you're withdrawing, before the 14 days end. We'll refund everything you paid for that purchase within 14 days of hearing from you, to the same card, at no cost to you.
You always keep your other rights too, including cancelling future payments at any time (section 7) and getting a fix or refund if Pro doesn't work as described (section 10).
10. Refunds and faults
- If something doesn't work as we describe it, tell us. You have legal rights under EU consumer law: we'll fix it within a reasonable time, and if we can't, you can get a price reduction or end the contract and get a refund. Nothing in these terms reduces those rights.
- We may give other refunds as a goodwill gesture. That's our choice each time.
- If a lifetime purchase is refunded in full, lifetime access ends.
11. Using Revvy Learn fairly
Please don't:
- share your account, or sell or give away access to Pro;
- copy, download in bulk, scrape or republish our notes, questions, answers or other content, or use them to build another product or train an AI;
- try to get round the paywall, the daily AI limits, or our security;
- put anyone else's personal information, or anything abusive, hateful, sexual or illegal, into the AI tutor, answers or feedback;
- try to make the AI tutor produce harmful or off-topic content;
- disrupt the service, or pretend to be someone else.
If you do, we may limit or close your account (section 17).
12. Our content, your work
- Everything we write and make for Revvy Learn (notes, questions, model answers, diagrams, flashcards, code and design) belongs to us or the people we license it from. You may use it for your own personal study. You may not use it commercially or share it outside Revvy Learn.
- Your answers and messages stay yours. You let us process them only to run the service: to save them, mark them and show them back to you.
- If you send us feedback or report a problem, you let us use it to improve Revvy Learn, for free.
13. Pearson and Edexcel
Revvy Learn is independent. It is not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by Pearson Education Ltd or Edexcel. Pearson, Edexcel, "International Advanced Level" and related names and marks belong to their owners. We use them only to say which specification our material is written for. Past exam papers and mark schemes are © Pearson.
14. Accuracy and exam results
We work hard to keep our material accurate and in line with the Pearson Edexcel IAL specifications, but it can contain mistakes, and specifications and exams change. Please use "Report a problem" when you spot something. Revvy Learn helps you revise, but it doesn't replace your teacher or the official specification, and we can't promise any grade or exam result.
15. AI features
The AI tutor and AI marking are automated and can be wrong. The AI can misread an answer, give a mark an examiner wouldn't, or state something incorrect. AI marks are practice guidance, not official grades, and no exam board, school or examiner sees them. Check anything important against the notes, the mark scheme or your teacher. Please don't type personal details into the AI tutor or your answers: our Privacy Policy explains where that text goes.
16. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Revvy Learn available all the time, but we can't promise it will never be down, for example during maintenance or problems at our providers.
We improve Revvy Learn all the time and may change how features work. We may change or remove free features at any time. For Pro, we only make changes for a good reason (such as keeping content accurate, security, or a provider change), at no extra cost to you. If a change makes Pro significantly worse for you, we'll tell you in advance, and you can end your Pro contract within 30 days and get a refund for the time you've paid for and won't use.
17. Ending your account
- You can stop using Revvy Learn at any time. To delete your account, email arongijsel@gmail.com (cancel any subscription first). We'll delete your data as our Privacy Policy explains.
- We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks section 11. Where we can, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to stop. If we close your account for a serious breach, we don't refund the rest of your paid period, unless the law requires it.
- If we close your account for any other reason, we'll refund what you've paid for time you won't get.
18. Our responsibility to you
- If we break these terms or don't use reasonable care and skill, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result. We're not responsible for loss nobody could have foreseen.
- Revvy Learn is for personal study. We're not responsible for business losses.
- Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't let us limit. Nothing in these terms takes away your legal rights as a consumer.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. If a change matters to you, we'll tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you're a subscriber and don't agree, you can cancel before it takes effect. Earlier purchases stay under the terms that applied when you made them, unless the change is in your favour.
20. Law, complaints and disputes
- These terms are governed by the law of Cyprus. If you're a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.
- If you have a complaint, please email arongijsel@gmail.com first. We aim to reply within 14 days.
- We don't currently take part in an alternative dispute resolution scheme. EU consumers with a cross-border complaint can get free help from the European Consumer Centre in their country (ECC-Net). (The EU's online dispute resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025.)
